WISE started out in the water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) sector which is what our co-founders had a background in. Since then, responding to the needs and opportunities that came our way, we have evolved to do much more.
A Southeast Asia that is equitable and sustainable for all.
We act to protect the environment, improve water, sanitation, and hygiene conditions, develop skills for future employment
To achieve our vision, WISE focuses on the following causes: environmental action; water, sanitation and hygiene; education, and; migrant work.
We act on these causes through the following approaches: community development; behaviour change; capacity building, and; research.
Depending on the needs of the communities that we work with, as well as our strengths and resources, WISE as a whole and each country team focuses on different causes.
