Identify, develop, and implement community development projects in Indonesia and Cambodia.

Background

Community development is one of ActSEA's key approaches to achieving ActSEA's vision of a more equitable and sustainable Southeast Asia. We work with excludedcommunities who lack access to water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH), and/or education. By 'community development', we mean that the community takes ownership of the decisions that affect their lives, where the people's, not ActSEA's, concerns are centred. We encourage ownership by emphasising active participation and collective action in our projects.
