This section describes how to recruit trainees, interns, and volunteers to WISE.

Recruitment channels

There are 3 ways in which team members can be recruited to WISE.

Unsolicited applications happen when someone ‘spontaneously’ decides that they want to join WISE as a staff, intern, or volunteer. WISE’s external communications channels publicises a rebrand.ly/WISEVolSignup URL for anyone to indicate their interest to join the organisation.


If a team or project requires additional manpower to achieve their goals that cannot be met internally, they should first put up a volunteer opportunity on Jira

Publicising on WISE’s social media

NOT STARTED  WISE regularly publishes volunteer opportunities on our Facebook and Instagram pages. To prioritise the publishing of your opportunity, please contact the Public Engagement Team.
